Muru Mittigar provides a diverse range of services such as maintaining tree health, promoting canopy cover and pruning, or removing trees where needed in places like parks, gardens, schools, universities, hospitals and community and commercial precincts. Some of the specific services we offer are tree removal, tree pruning tree felling, wood chipping, and stump grinding for our residential and commercial customers.
Australia is a land of droughts, floods and bushfires. With the impacts of climate change, bushfires are becoming an even greater threat to the community and infrastructure. Muru Mittigar has been working for over 15 years to reduce the impact of bushfires to the community.

Our landscaping services, including landscape design, construction and maintenance employ our Indigenous trainees and staff, providing sustainable employment opportunities with a unique blend of traditional land management techniques and use of the latest technology. As an Aboriginal-owned and operated business we have years of experience in vegetation management, bushfire mitigation and weed control services. Our experienced staff advise on native plant regeneration, controlled burning and the supply of plants to rehabilitate parklands, gardens, and corporate and community environments.
Muru Mittigar provides a diverse range of weed control services, revegetation services and can provide in-depth consultation services for vegetation management projects of all sizes.
The Muru Mittigar Native Nursery is a wholesale and retail nursery, specialising in growing plants from provenance seed collected in the local area. Our emerging plant lines include bush tucker plants, with species chosen from across Australia.
We work with Government, Local Councils, Corporations, Asset Managers, Schools and Universities, Hospitals, Building Industry Professionals, Project Managers, Roads and Engineering Contractors and corporate environments across the Sydney basin and beyond.
