As a Group Training Organisation (GTO), we bring together employers, apprentices and trainees, managing the process end-to-end to deliver real, lasting outcomes.
Who is Muru Mittigar Employment Services?
Muru Mittigar is an Dharug-led organisation with a strong connection to community, culture and country.
We deliver employment, training and environmental services that create opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while also supporting people from all backgrounds and helping businesses meet their workforce needs.
Through our Employment Services, we act as the employer of apprentices and trainees, placing them with host organisations and providing ongoing support throughout their journey.
Our approach is practical, supportive and outcomes-focused, for both individuals and employers.

Our story
Muru Mittigar has a long-standing history of working with community, delivering environmental and cultural services grounded in connection to Country.
Over time, this work has evolved to include Employment Services, creating structured pathways into work and training. Building on strong industry relationships and a deep understanding of community needs, Muru Mittigar now supports both individuals and employers through a practical, end-to-end approach to apprenticeships and traineeships.
Through this work, Muru Mittigar contributes to broader Closing the Gap priorities by supporting long-term employment outcomes, skills development and greater economic participation for indigenous and non-indigenous Australians.
