MURU MITTIGAR

We acknowledge the Darug people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work. We acknowledge the Elders, both past and present.

Muru Mittigar seeks to advance Aboriginal culture, and in particular Darug culture, improving well—being and economic independence of Aboriginal people. We achieve this social impact by doing business with buyers and customers through our industry-leading products and services to create social change and Close the Gap.

Muru Mittigar is a leading Indigenous-owned Social Enterprise, established in 1998 providing ‘real time’ employment and training opportunities in the workplace. Our ‘workplace’ extends across the eastern seaboard of NSW and we collaborate knowledge from community and business across Australia and overseas.

Our workforce is lead by hand picked industry professionals who have extensive experience across each of our speciality business areas.

Muru Mittigar means ‘Pathway to Friends’ in the Darug language (the Traditional Custodians of our area). We provide a wide range of services to support local Darug people and the wider Aboriginal community.
