NAIDOC Week 2025 will be observed from 6 – 13 July, celebrating the theme “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy.” This theme not only honours 50 years of NAIDOC Week but also calls attention to the importance of supporting and empowering young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders.
For schools, this presents a powerful opportunity. Beyond celebration, NAIDOC Week is a time for education, reflection, and action. It’s a chance for educators to strengthen cultural inclusion and foster an environment of respect, connection, and understanding—starting in the classroom.
At Muru Mittigar, we believe in empowering communities through cultural knowledge. Our Cultural Awareness Programs are designed to support schools in delivering meaningful, respectful and engaging learning experiences that centre First Nations perspectives.
Whether you’re planning for NAIDOC Week or looking to embed long-term cultural education into your school community, our workshops and training sessions can be tailored to meet your school’s needs.
Let’s work together to support the next generation with strength, vision and legacy.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live and work. We acknowledge the Elders, both past and present. Our organisation, in partnership with the Traditional Owners of NSW, is working to place First Peoples living cultures and histories at the core of our practice.
