Introducing our senior Culture Educator & Mentor and proud Anaiwan Man from Armidale — Dennis Moran. Dennis finished school at 17 years old and completed year 11 at Duval High School. Following high school, Dennis accumulated over 12 years of sporting experience and had the opportunity of becoming a professional rugby league player — both in NRL and Super League UK.
After retiring from sport, Dennis became a youth worker for Centacare — and then moved on to Country Rugby League as a Welfare and Education officer for 3 years. Dennis also established a Mentoring business — ‘Nanyabura Mentoring’, specialising in working with DOE in the central west. Dennis also created a covid cleaning business during the pandemic with 148 staff and 75 sites around NSW.
In Dennis’ spare time you’ll find him delving into culture, going for camping trips, playing touch footy and rugby league — of course!
