Muru Mittigar is a not for profit organisation which seeks to advance Aboriginal culture, and in particular Darug culture, improve the economic and social capacity of Aboriginal people and empower meaningful participation to enhance their role as traditional Custodians of Country.

Our Land & Rivers team is seeking an experienced, motivated and professional bush regenerator to carry out environmental restoration works including bush regeneration, revegetation, seed collection, broad acre weed control, fire mitigation, landscaping and other horticulture services across a range of sites on the Cumberland Plain & greater Sydney.

Essential criteria:

  • Certificate II Conservation & Land Management (or equivalent)
  • Plant ID skills
  • AQF3 Chemcert/SmartTrain
  • WHS White card
  • Reliability, Punctuality, a strong work ethic & good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn

Desirable criteria:

  • Current manual drivers licence
  • Certificate III Conservation & Land Management
  • Chainsaw licence
  • GIS skills and/or ability to read and update work maps
  • Demonstrated experience working within a team environment

Positions are for an immediate start, subject to pre-employment health check and drug and alcohol testing.
