Energy Accounts payment assistance

Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) is a NSW Government initiative for customers with an open account who are experiencing a short-term financial crisis e.g. unexpected medical bills, car repairs or loss of employment.

The process involves a trained community employee creating a budget with you, an issuing of a voucher, and setting you up on payment plan with your provider.

To apply we will require the following documents:

  • Proof of crisis eg. receipt of crisis, employment separation certificate
  • Proof of your Income
  • Photo ID
  • Last 90 days bank transactions
  • Latest electricity / gas bill, not a reminder or disconnection notice.
